Listen.
In the show, ichigo's sword breaks while fighting Kenpachi. He then goes into Zangetsu's world, and the Inner Hollow pops out, and he has to fight it with a normal sword while hes using the shikai. Then Ichigo wins, and the hollow goes INTO ZANGETSU. Zangetsu says thanks. Then later Ichigo fights him in Bankai(In the Vizard House) and they ARE talking about Kings and horses.
The Inner is the horse and Ichigo is the king for now, but if Ichigo falters at all, the inner will overthrow him and they will switch sides.
Thats what the inner says.
